Mika is a freshman at Dos Pueblos high school.
Her favorite subjects include English, science, and freehand drawing.
As well as theater, which she partakes in after school.
She enjoys going on morning walks, and hanging out with her black cat Vader.
She is three quarters Italian and a quarter Japanese, and can speak a little bit of Italian.
Her hobbies include, knitting, hiking, petting cats, writing poems, and playing dnd.
Mediums of arts she uses are traditional, digital, knitting, sewing, clay, and photoshop.
This project in particular is a blend of a lot of mediums,
as she as an artist likes to blend lots of mediums.
This project was a way to express the disconnect between humanity and machines,
as well as the idea of conspiracies and disconnect that some people feel with reality.
They express this through a handful of art pieces and sculptures,
most pieces showing a sense of powerlessness and division between the two.
Through art and presentation, many storylines can be formed,
and she wants people to interpret the scene and get their brains moving.
She loves treasure hunts as well, and tried to intagrade that in as well.
While working on this project she tried to dip her foot in new waters,
trying out stop motion, and set work.
She hopes that after seeing this piece people will get
a better understanding of how others see the world.
